About Us

Paper Turtle is a handmade cremation urn studio located in a renovated 1800s adobe building in the heart of Downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. We create one-of-a-kind, handcrafted urns for every member of the family from beloved pets to loved ones. We prioritize customer satisfaction for every family we're honored to serve. Our production methods reflect that same care: we use non-toxic glazes and recycled, recyclable packing materials sourced from local suppliers whenever possible — respectful to our customers, our community, and the environment.

Thank you for visiting.

Our Values

Empathy — We understand that creating handcrafted memorial urns with intention and care is an important part of the healing process for the families we serve.

Generosity — We strive to make every urn better than it needs to be, and worth more than what our customers pay. We love what we do.

Integrity — We bring our best work to every urn — sensitivity, kindness, skill, and attention to detail — in every piece we create.

Gratitude — We feel honored to share our craft in a way that's meaningful to the families who trust us with something so personal.
