The turtle urn will gently float for a short period before sinking and naturally and biodegrading over time. Float time may vary depending on the weight of the ashes and water conditions.

For a personal touch, you can customize your urn with a name or special message for an additional $10. The inscription will be printed on a brown, heart-shaped paper and attached to the back of the turtle.
The turtle is an ancient and powerful image, one of the oldest symbols for Mother Earth in Native American teachings, and one of the four Celestial Guardian Animals in feng shui. In the Far East, the sea turtle, living on both land and in water, was believed to unite heaven and earth.
