Every urn is uniquely yours. Choose from the inspiration examples shown here, or share your own ideas — animals, nursery themes, blanket designs, and more. For custom requests, simply send reference images to laura@paper-turtle.com. Additional design examples can be found in our customer reviews.
How to Order
Enter your desired design choice including clay color; text; font preference in the notes field in the cart. If you'd like a design similar to one of our examples, please reference it in notes. Due to the handmade nature of our ceramics, exact replicas cannot be guaranteed, but we will do our best to honor your vision.
You'll receive progress updates throughout the creation process — including a preview before firing — so your urn turns out as you imagined.
Each painted urn includes two names and one date. Additional names or phrases are available as add-ons. We'll reach out directly after your order is placed.

Production & Rush Orders
Turnaround time is 2–4 weeks depending on design complexity and current production schedule. If you have a memorial service scheduled, please let us know at the time of ordering. Rush service is available upon request.
Sizing Guide for Infant Cremation Urns
The funeral industry standard is 1 cubic inch of capacity per 1 lb of living weight (1 cup = 14.4 ci). Our urns are sized accordingly:
XS Urn — 2.75"H x 2.25"W | 4 oz capacity | Suitable for infants or pets up to 7 lbs
Small Urn — 3.5"H x 3"W | 8 oz capacity | Suitable for infants or pets up to 14 lbs
Please note: cremation is not an exact science, and ash volume can occasionally exceed expectations. If you're unsure which size to order, we recommend consulting your cremation provider before purchasing.
Each urn is individually handmade; exterior dimensions may vary slightly, but interior capacity remains consistent across each size.
